Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a process that can help in all these situations. You can apply NVC whether or not the other people involved are using it.
Too often we get caught up in issues of who is right or wrong, or we think in terms of winning, losing or compromise. Using NVC we can get past those moralistic judgements in order to express ourselves honestly, listen compassionately, and see the possibilities more clearly.
NVC teaches skills for making change in our lives, in all our relationships. We can apply NVC in our families, communities, workplaces, and in our efforts towards social change. Most importantly, NVC can help us become more compassionate towards ourselves. More about NVC...
This one-day workshop introduces the foundations of Nonviolent Communication. No prior knowledge of NVC is needed. Throughout the day we will practise new skills in pairs or small groups.
